As can be seen from the group photo, not all joined us from the night before. Some had other commitments.
On the way back to the bridge we had a yarn with some ageing Greasers / Rockers out for a Sunday drive on their beautifully preserved classic
motorbikes.

Here we are going back down river against the tide. Not without mishap though. With water now covering the banks it was
difficult deciding exactly where the channel was. Some ended up being blown into the shallows with outboards dragging in the mud. Back to paddles again!
I think all enjoyed our first expedition to Ruan and well worth doing again. Mind you, doing similar trips up Devoran or Mylor creeks might give more time in the pub ?
